Service Agent Profile: Mitch Stafford, Dental Equip Pty Ltd

Mitch Stafford, through his business Dental Equip Pty Ltd began working as an Authorised Roland DG Service Agent in Queensland in 2023 however his experience in the technical sector extends much further back. Mitch has been working, servicing devices for 12 years, and has gained a very broad scope of experience during that time.

Starting his career as a service technician in 2012, Mitch learnt the fundamental skills for servicing a large portfolio of dental equipment brands in Western Australia. From there, Mitch spent a number of years learning about sterilisation and gathering technical knowledge associated with the medical/dental sector. Then in order to diversify his skills and experience even further, Mitch moved across to a succession of private companies in WA and NSW covering all makes and models of dental equipment to get to the point where Mitch he could fix ‘just about anything.’

In late 2019, Mitch made a pivotal move to Brisbane and started his own business venture. Through hard work and perseverance, Mitch has built his business in Queensland and is very proud of his achievements thus far.

Being an Authorised Service Agent

As an Authorised Service Agent, Mitch holds several training certifications for a range of different devices in the medical, dental, radiation and print sectors making him a highly qualified and versatile technician.

Mitch’s self-declared focus is customer satisfaction and to achieve this he goes to great lengths to ensure his customers have complete confidence in his ability by providing the highest quality service possible and following up after completing work.

Mitch says “I’m passionate about customer satisfaction and for customers to have confidence in my ability.”

Mitch has enjoyed working with Roland DG and DGSHAPE over the years, saying the last two rounds of DGSHAPE training at Roland DG head office in Sydney were “good fun.”

According to Mitch “working with Roland DG is the major highlight in my career, as we have quite a strong business relationship. Moving into the Print industry has been a very interesting experience, with its own specific challenges accompanying it, but after having serviced so many brands and so many different types of equipment over the years, making Roland DG my primary focus has been a tremendous change.”
