Euro Signs Expands Production and Colour Accuracy with New Roland DG VG2-640 with Green Ink

Euro Signs

Pino Perri, Director of Euro Signs, started making signs more than 25 years ago from his bedroom in the family home. After two years on his own, Pino’s brother, now Director, Sav, joined the company and it has since developed into a thriving small business that employs eight full time staff at its showroom in Moonah, Tasmania.

Euro Signs initially specialised in general, vehicle and business signage, however over the years, with demand leaning more toward safety, Euro Signs evolved into a sign and safety shop that provides standard and customised products to schools, government departments, councils, building firms and contractors, and the general public. Recently, the company established an online shopping platform, and now provides their products to customers across Australia.

To create their sign products, Euro Signs uses a range of printing devices and engravers, including a Roland DG TrueVIS VG-640 and Roland DG Pro 3 XC-540. To expand their production, which now includes a huge range of COVID-19 social distancing signs, floor decals, barriers and safety chains, Pino recently decided to invest in a new Roland DG printer. “The current VG-640 prints all day every day so we needed another printer to keep up with the demand.”

"our customers come to expect closer matches to spot colours for their corporate identities, which we are positive the new VG2-640 will give us"

After a recommendation over the phone from Amari Visual Solutions, and a good history with Roland DG machines, Pino says it “was a no brainer” to invest in a Roland DG TrueVIS VG2-640. Pino opted for the new TrueVIS TR2 Green ink to enable him to more closely match his customers’ requirements: “With the increased quality of digital reproduction, our customers come to expect closer matches to spot colours for their corporate identities, which we are positive the new VG2-640 will give us.”

With a level of service and support from Roland DG that “has always been spot on”, Pino could not recommend Roland DG printers highly enough. “We believe that the Roland DG printers are one of the most reliable and easy-to-use printers on the market. Our first ever digital printing machine was not a Roland DG printer and it… had constant issues. Since we swapped over to Roland DG [we have] never looked back. Over the years, all our Roland DG Printers have never stopped printing and have never given us any issues.”
