Roland DG launches lower-cost UV-LED Flatbed Printer to meet Market Demand

Roland DG Australia, a leading manufacturer of wide format inkjet printers and printer cutters today announced the launch of the EU-1000MF large format UV-LED flatbed printer in the local Australian market.

The EU-1000MF offers high-quality printing and unmatched support at a great price and productivity level that will appeal to a wide range of customers. It’s capable of beautiful printing on a wide range of materials up to 95mm thick for a large variety of applications, including sign graphics, event and store displays, décor, and small-lot, high-mix custom goods that can greatly expand customers’ print businesses.

The EU-1000MF is available in two models, 4-colour or 6-colour, with printheads in a staggered array for printing up to 27.6m2/h in 720 x 600 dpi CMYK mode and enabling it to handle approximately nine rigid 1,220 x 2,440 mm boards per hour. The UV ink is cured instantly, eliminating the need for post-print drying, while the ability to print directly onto a variety of materials such as acrylic, PETG, PVC, foam, PC, wood, and aluminium composite boards further reduces post-processing time and costs.

Additionally, the EU-1000MF comes packed with a number of advanced features including bundled VersaWorks RIP, low-cost GREENGUARD Gold certified E-US inks, a liquid-cooled LED lamp system, four-zone vacuum bed, anti-static ionization system to reduce static interference, and solenoid alignment pins for easy media handling.
