Roland pioneered the development of integrated print/cut technology for packaging prototypes and short run label production. We were the first to offer an LED curing UV inkjet printer/cutter equipped with CMYK+White inks as well as clear coat for simulating spot varnishes and embossing effects. Roland LED curing technology offers the widest range of media compatibility and supports heat sensitive media such as shrink films. We were also the first to introduce both white and metallic inks for mild solvent printers.
