    The Hi-Fi JET Pro II offers the best digital print quality in the industry. Thanks to variable droplet technology, 1440x1440 dpi resolution and precise media movement, this wide format inkjet printer is ideal for producing fine art reproductions, photography and colour proofs. It can also crank out graphics with blazing production speed.

    • Fabulous Print Quality

      With the newest generation of variable droplet Piezo print heads and a digital servo motor to control media, the Hi-Fi JET Pro II provides true 1440 x 1440 dpi resolution. It uses micro-precise ink droplets of three different sizes depending on the type of output. This state-of-the-art technology delivers truly breathtaking output with beautifully smooth and dot-free tones even at high speed. Roland media clamps help prevent media curling, which can cause head strikes.

    • Brilliant Inks

      InkRoland UV-stable pigment inks produce vivid, eye-catching graphics with enhanced colour. Ongoing tests at Wilhelm Research indicate over 100 years indoor print permanence with Roland pigment ink. Roland dye-based inks produce lush, intense colours at a lower price. Both come in sealed 220ml ink cartridges for easy, no-mess handling.

    • Print Head Perfection

      Print HeadsRoland's six inline print heads provide more accurate dot control compared to the staggered configuration of most print heads. The heads have all 360 nozzles of each colour precisely aligned in a single array. Staggered print heads, on the other hand, have 180 nozzles on two separate arrays and cannot possibly be as accurately aligned.

      MediaThe Hi-Fi JET Pro II accepts a wide range of media. Roland's continually growing lineup includes PET film for photographic prints, backlit film, matte and gloss papers, fine art paper, artist's canvas, adhesive-backed vinyl and others.

    • Blazing Print Speed

      In addition to printing fine art reproductions, the Hi-Fi JET Pro II can crank out 450 dpi signs and POP displays at 28 sq mt/hr. With one-inch-wide print heads that employ 360 nozzles each, the Pro II prints large banners in minutes.

    • Bundled Software

      COLORIPRoland COLORIP® (RCR) is loaded with features that make printing faster and easier. RCR includes simultaneous RIP & Print capability, enhanced colour management, contour cutting and several unique layout options. In addition to Postscript jobs, you can print directly from TIFF, JPEG, EPS, PS, PDF 1.4 and DCS 2.0 files. RCR gives users tremendous control over colour.

    • Standard Roland Features

      Network Connection - Equipped with a standard 100 BASE-TX/10 BASE-T interface, the FJ-540 connects seamlessly to office networks with a data transmission rate of 1.1 Mb/sec. This makes it easy to configure a highly efficient printing environment. A parallel cable can be used for stand-alone printing.

      Reliability You Can Count On - The FJ-540 is a bulletproof production machine. With regular maintenance, it provides years of trouble-free service. But, unlike most inkjets that require daily maintenance, the FJ-540 gets serviced significantly less often. The Pro II's ink system features a motor-driven elevator that automatically adjusts to print head height. It has wipers that clean two heads at a time and flushes the ink on each pass.
