Each PANTONE PLASTIC Color Chip is produced in opaque polystyrene for colour clarity. Individual chips measure 27 mm x 33 mm (1.1 inches x 1.3 inches), with three-step thicknesses measuring 1, 2, and 3 mm (.04, .08 and .12 inches). These removable chips slide neatly into molded plastic sheets, allowing you to develop colour palettes, communicate colour choices, attach to drawings or as a colour reference for production. Replacement chips can be purchased individually.

This universally recognized system offers an easy and accurate method of colour communication between designers and plastics manufacturers. The complete set contains a full palette of 735 transparent colours and 1,005 opaque colours (including over 900 cross references to the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM® and PANTONE TEXTILE Color System®). Each colour chip provides three steps of thickness to display different levels of translucency. Chips are conveniently arranged and stored in custom three-ring binders.Product components include:
